Deep Tissue

This massage focuses on individual muscles and their relationship to the attached bone. I focus on the deeper layers of muscle tissue and underneath the muscle to release chronic patterns of tension in the body. I work slowly on the contracted areas, and move across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia. Deep-tissue helps break up scar tissue accumulated from trauma, surgery, and unconscious holding patterns from emotions and day to day experiences.
